Pridgeon & Clay, Incorporated (P&C) was founded in 1948 by John Pridgeon and Donald V. Clay. The company began in a small converted garage in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Don Clay became the sole owner of Pridgeon & Clay when John Pridgeon retired in 1976. In 1992, Don sold the business to his sons, Donald C. Clay and Robert E. Clay, who are the current owners. Pridgeon & Clay, which is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, also has facilities in Franklin, Indiana, and Apostag, Hungary.

It is our belief that our employees set us apart from the competition. Within our dedicated Learning Center, we educate, test and certify our staff members in a manner which supports our corporate philosophy of employee empowerment and ongoing training.

We equip our employees with the right 'tools', through training, monitoring and evaluation, to ensure high standards of performance and quality.

We have a certified operator program that requires successful completion of training modules before an operator is qualified to operate automatic presses. In addition, all hourly manufacturing employees must show proficiency in job-related activities after going through an on-the-job training program designed for their respective functions.
